The religion of Islam Principles and Fundamentals

Islam, the religion of more than 1.7 billion in the world, provides humanity with a unified vision of the purpose of our creation and existence, our final destiny and our place among other creatures.

Basic Beliefs

The Oneness of God (Tawhid)

It is the most important Islamic belief. This implies that everything that exists has its origin in the one Creator, who is also the sustainer and the only source of guidance.

The recognition of this fundamental truth resulted in a unified vision of existence that rejects any division of life into the religious and the profane. Allah is the only source of power and authority and therefore the right to worship and obedience of mankind. There is no room for any association with the Creator. The Tawhid teaches man that God is not born, nor is he born of him. He does not have kids. Human beings, like the rest of creation, are its subjects.


The Prophecy (Risalah)

It means the Prophecy and Messenger. Since the creation of the first human being, God has revealed his guidance to humanity by sending the prophets, Who all called the belief of one God. The prophets who received the books from Allah are called messengers. 

The books revealed by God are: the Torah (Tawrah), the Psalms (Zabur), the Gospel (Injeel) and the Koran. The Quran was revealed to the Prophet Muhammad (peace and blessings of God be upon him), as the last guide book of. Among all these books, only the Qur'an remains unchanged, in its original form in which it was revealed.


Life After Death (Akirah)

This belief has a profound impact on the life of a believer, holding them accountable to God.  On the day of judgment, we will decide according to our way of life. On the day of judgment we will be judged according to the way we live our lives, he who obeys and worships Allah will be rewarded with a permanent place of happiness and bliss in paradise; Those who don't will be sent to hell, a place of punishment and suffering.


The Five Pillars of Islam

By working with integrity and loyalty on the five pillars of Islam, a Muslim's life is transformed into a form that is in accordance with nature and therefore according to the will of the creator. One is inspired to work toward the establishment of justice, equality, and justice in society, and the eradication of injustice, falsehood, and evil.


1. Testimony (Shahadah)

The first of the five basic fundamentals is the declaration, knowingly and voluntarily, of: La ilaha il-la Allah, Muhammad rasululahh. This statement is the basis for all actions in Islam, and the other basic duties follow this statement.


2. The Obligatory Prayer (Salah)

It is offered five times a day. It is a practical demonstration of faith, and it keeps a believer in touch with his creator. Prayer develops the qualities of self-discipline, perseverance and obedience to truth, which leads a man to be patient, honest and truthful in matters of his life.


3. CHARITY (ZAKAT)

A social assistance contribution is a mandatory payment from an annual Muslim savings. It can only be spent to help the poor, the needy and the oppressed, and to improve the general situation of society. Zakat is one of the basic principles of Islamic economics, guaranteeing an equal society where everyone has the right to participate and participate.

4. Fasting 

It is the obligatory annual fast on each day of the month of Ramadan - the ninth month of the Islamic calendar. You must abstain from eating, drinking, smoking , from sunrise to sunset. 


5. The Pilgrimage to Mecca (hajj)

The annual pilgrimage (Hajj) to Mecca is an obligation to fulfill once in a lifetime, for those who have the physical and financial means to carry it out.


The Quran


The Quran is the final guide book of Allah, revealed to Prophet Muhammad ﷺ, through the angel Gabriel (Jibra'il). The Qur'an is unrivaled in its record and preservation. Unlike other scriptures that were corrupted with human interpolations and omissions, the Qur'an has remained unchanged, even in one letter, for more than 1400 years. The Quran is the ultimate revelation to humanity and covers all aspects of human life, and its relationship to life after death.

The Hadiths

Hadiths are the collection of sayings, actions, and silent approvals of Prophet Muhammad ﷺ. The hadiths were meticulously recorded by the companions of the prophet.
